A five day tour of Dońana National Park, one of Europe's most important wetlands, home to the Spanish imperial eagle and stronghold of the Iberian lynx. Explore the Strait of Gibraltar and witness some amazing scenery and birds, all with a fully licenced local guide. Why summer?
Summer birding in the region allows the visitor to experience sunny, warm weather birding, great for bird & nature photographers as they will be ble to use really low ISOs to produce stunningly sharp, noise-free images.
Birds will be in full breeding season, looking at their 'plumage best', affording great viewing and photography opportunities as they flying back and forth from the nearby nests with nesting material or food for their young.
Clients can make use of a plethora of roadside ventas for some delicious cheap hot tapas or even a mid-afternoon break from the birding for a quick swim in the pristine blue seas of the either the Atlantic Ocean or the Mediterranean (depending where we are at the time) for that typical Spanish coffee 'manchado' (milky coffee), which our clients always love and comment on. Summer birding in the area goes strongly recommended.
